Dairy Free "Ice Cream"

I really want to try eating better and cut out on my sweets. I really want to try Vegan but cant because of my "meat and potatoes" husband and son. :) So here is one of the little things I can get away with. Ice cream!

My husband also added protein powder(vanilla flavored)
2 frozen bananas, 2 tablespoons PB, 2 scoops of protein powder and a tablespoon of coco powder.

and a dash of almond milk to smooth it out a little.

To make it thicker i put it in my ice cream maker.

Then into the air tight container.

I put it in the freezer for an hour or two.

Not to bad! Probably will not put the protein in every time.

Have a great day!

Broiled Grapefruit

I found a pin on Pinterest, that said you can  broil a grapefruit. It supposed to bring out the natural sweetness in it!  So  I had to try it because I hate grapefruit but love that is helps with belly fat!

First off I cut the grapefruit in half!

Then cut the the bottom so it would sit flat.

I cut the pieces so I didn't have to try cutting it hot out the oven.

I also added a little honey to the top to help with the broiling.

(I got my "honey pot" from the goodwill    .25 cents)

Put it in the oven on the top rack.

5 mins and a little smoke later

Broiled grapefruit! So good you can eat it for every meal!
